Finland’s Agileday has raised a €6.4M Series A led by Newion to scale its AI-powered PSA platform and expand across Europe and North America.
Agileday, a Helsinki-headquartered Finnish software company building a people-centric operating platform for professional services, has raised €6.4 million in Series A funding to accelerate international growth and deepen product development around AI-driven operations. Agileday positions its platform as the operational layer that connects sales pipeline, delivery execution, and financial outcomes. So services firms can plan and scale work with better visibility and less manual coordination. (Agileday)
Funding round details
The €6.4M Series A was led by Newion, with participation from Specialist VC, Vendep Capital, and Business Finland, according to the company. Agileday said the capital will support international expansion and continued investment in the platform as professional services firms adopt more automation and AI across delivery workflows.
What Agileday does?
Agileday provides a professional services automation (PSA) platform that brings together talent and skills, allocations, timesheets, and project financials in one system. The company describes it as an “operational engine” that sits between CRM and financial tools, keeping sales, delivery, and finance aligned through real-time synchronization with AI embedded across workflows.
In its announcement, co-founder and co-CEO Jaakko Hartikainen said Agileday was created in response to outdated management systems that fragment information and slow decision-making as services firms grow. Co-founder and co-CEO Mikko Virtanen added that the company’s approach leans on Nordic principles like trust and transparency aiming to improve how teams coordinate work and deliver outcomes.
Traction and customer footprint
Agileday says it now serves 70+ service companies globally and has seen 3x year-over-year growth, citing demand among enterprise customers. The company highlighted customers across North America (including Apply Digital, Propeller, and The Electric Factory) and Europe (including Knowit, Siili Solutions, and Eficode).
What’s next
With the new financing, Agileday said it will focus on scaling the technology and accelerating growth across Europe and North America. Newion’s Anton Keller described the product as addressing operational pain points with strong fit for services firms preparing for AI-driven change.
